Steamboat Ski Resort offers more than 160 named ski runs off of 20 lifts spanning over 2,900 acres of skiable terrain. A major resort in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, the slopes range over six mountain faces, there are terrain parks and the Maverick Superpipe for snowboarders and numerous ski and snowboard classes for both children and adults of all levels of ability. During the summer, visitors can take a scenic gondola ride up the mountain and bike down the slopes. Located on the southern side of town, the mountain is the hub of activity in the area year round.
